The what now?

This European summer, an international mix of nomads, plan to build a fleet of 2 or more junk rafts.

We will build with scrap wood, plastic bottles, fishing nets, steel framing, old cars or caravans, styrofoam, water-tight containers, cans, sheet metal, old scaffolding, roofing materials and any ‘useful junk’ such as old boats, fishing buoys and wharf/jetty pontoons.

Building will take place in Spain from May till July.

Inspired by the alternative, by recycling and re-purposing we want to

explore sustainable ways to give new purpose to scrap.

demonstrate viable, sustainable alternatives to travelling and living.

spread essential messages and hopefully sparking some creativity, wherever we dock.
